My name is Melissa I am very energetic and would love to take care of your little ones by making it fun! I’ve worked with children since high school through a program called Early Childhood in which I also got be an assistant for 2 teachers one was 1st and the other was 3rd. I’ve also done tutoring for a little girl that was in kindergarten. My most recent experience was as a Pre-k teacher at a daycare for which I worked for a year and got to see all my student’s learn and grow. My drive to work with kids has always been being able to be an influence in them, being able to teach them and watch them have fun while they learn.

When the pandemic started I began to take care of my little 14 month old niece who is now turning 2 . I have really enjoyed getting to be part of her day and learning from her more than she does from me!

I love planning activities that involve learning I am very hands on so crafts are MUST. Also I like to incorporate ASL as a form of communication for my little ones when they are in the process of learning how to talk :)
