A little bit about me

I am a nanny who is currently looking to work full time hours with one family.

My Responsibilities as a nanny include complete care for the children and some chores. This includes some meal prep, bathing, teaching pre-k lessons and some crafts. Transportation to and from school and special activities along with traveling with the family.

On occasion I may run an errand or get some groceries. I have also done date nights and stayed with the children while parents were away or the family needed pet sitting. I am fluent in Spanish, CPR certified and able to swim. I have also helped in the Sunday school class for the 2 and 3-year-olds at my local church.

Being organized and having a structured routine with flexibility is an important part of my nanny career. I value communication, respect and honesty.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked with toddlers at my local church. I taught set lesson plan, set up engaging games and managed snack time. I worked with one other lady in the classroom for 2 and 3 year olds. Did this for approximately 2 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being active with music, outdoor play, swimming and creating our own games with imagination play. Arts and crafts are fun and I like to let the child use their thinking skills to come up with their own creative projects with the resources we have available at the moment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe its seeing the children grow in a nurturing environment with plenty of love, fun and engaging in activities to help them learn.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for kids with autism in the classroom setting at the local church I attend and other babysitting jobs. It involves alot of patience, love and organizing a structured environment for the child according to their particular needs.
