A little bit about me

I am a certified EMT-B and have over 3 years of experience preforming lifesaving and routine interventions for pediatric and adult patients. I helped raise my two siblings, one of which has ASD, and I have held a CPR certification since I was 13 years old. I have a BS in Biology and I begin medical school in July, 2026. I am very passionate about engaging with kids and keeping them active mentally and physically. I am always willing to learn and adapt to established routines and behaviors. I am happy to help with pets too! I am looking to work long days (up to 12 hours) with the potential of “call-ins” if there are any last-minute plans or emergencies. I am also happy to work overnight shifts if need be!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in both a general emergency department (treating adults and kids) as well as a children’s only ER. On top of that I have experience working with children as a teacher/tutor, and babysitting.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to draw, read, bake, and go outside. I think the best part about childhood is using your imagination and I still do so all the time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe being a nanny/caregiver is an immensely important role in a child’s life. I believe I will be filling in as a role-model, a supporter, and a teacher for many hours of one’s early life and it can be so crucial. It is important to be kind and compassionate as a nanny in order to encourage these traits in the children I’d care for!

My experience with special needs children...

Working in emergency medicine for the past few years has given me the opportunity to meet and care for children & adults with special needs frequently. I am used to people requiring complete assistance to conquer daily tasks and am always willing to adapt to the needs of others.

Live-In Part-Time Nanny Available in Washington, DC: Kylie Grace W.

Hi! My name is Kylie. I work full-time on Capitol Hill and will be starting evening law school next year, but caring for kids has always been such a special part of my life. I’m looking to nanny because I truly love being around children and supporting families in meaningful ways.

I used to play Division 1 field hockey at UNC Chapel Hill and later coached club field hockey while in college - that’s when I really fell in love with helping kids grow into the best version of themselves. Whether it’s playing outside, helping with homework, or just being a calm and encouraging presence, I bring a lot of patience, kindness, and joy to everything I do.

I’m dependable, organized, and always happy to step in with a positive attitude. I’d be so grateful for the chance to get to know your family and be part of your child’s everyday life.

These experiences have strengthened my patience, communication skills, and ability to create a safe, engaging environment for children of all ages.
