I love spending time outdoors with children — going to the beach, exploring nature, collecting little treasures, and turning ordinary days into adventures. At home, I’m always coming up with fun hands-on activities like sensory bins, messy art projects, and simple STEM experiments that get kids excited to learn and create. I also love reading together, being silly, and taking photos to capture all the sweet, funny little moments that make childhood so special.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny memories was with a little girl I had just started caring for. During a nature walk, I discovered she absolutely loved snails, so that night I went home and learned everything I could about them — including that they love cucumbers. The next morning I woke up early to stop at the grocery store before work, and together we found snails and fed them cucumber slices. The pure excitement and laughter that came out of her when she saw the snails eating is something I’ll never forget. It was such a small moment, but it perfectly captured the magic of childhood and how meaningful it can be to really pay attention to what lights a child up.
