More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am currently a lead preschool teacher. I have previously held jobs in the infant classrooms, toddler classrooms and two’s classrooms. I have experience with bottle feeding, baby led weaning, potty training, etc.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going on walks to the park or library. Some of my favorite things to do with children are sensory play and movie and popcorn activities. I am a very good swimmer, so I love supervising and playing with kids in the pool during the summer.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny for me is being trustworthy and loving someones child like they are your own. Putting your child in someone else’s care is one of the most nerve wracking things possible for a parent, but knowing someone trusts you with their whole worlds (their children) means so much to me.

My experience with special needs children...

I have had several children in my classrooms over the last few years with autism/ spectrum disorders. Although I did not go to school for special needs education I feel I have lots of experience in dealing with special needs children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite thing is getting to know a new family and their children and what their likes/ dislikes are. For example I love when I start to know what the child likes on his or her sandwich, I like starting to know what the child’s favorite toys are. I like building that connection and becoming a part of the family.
