The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a good nanny is building a strong, trusting connection with the kids. It's all about making them feel safe, loved, and understood while keeping things fun and engaging. When kids know they can count on you, everything else falls into place naturally.
My experience with special needs children...
I used to care for a 13-year-old boy who was non-verbal and had autism. Once a month, we'd have fun outings, hitting up places like museums, Disney, SeaWorld, or any amusement park he was excited about.
During the summer, I also looked after a 16-year-old boy. We’d spend our days at the pool, cooking up meals together, and playing all kinds of games.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Before my full time nanny position I have now I had only done quick shifts through a company for families needing a night out on their vacation or in some kind of emergency. Most shifts were 3-9 hours max. Since starting full time with a family the 4 year old girl has told me she loves me and I never knew how great that would feel.
