I volunteered as a staff for an after school program at an Elementary school, for extra credit in my sophomore year in high school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
In doors i enjoying painting, playing with toys, arts & crafts, showing them how to cook or teaching them educational things. Out doors we can always play such as riding bikes, going to the park, planting plants, playing with the pets, hands on games like tag; and even a little exercise!
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me is getting to be a different type of support for children. Especially the ones 3 years old and up, parents and family are around the clock for them. But a new face can do them some good, somewhat like a new best friend with your best interest at heart.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven’t had an experience with special needs children but Im not against it. I just know they need more attention and a different type of care and patience and I'm not sure if I’d be good in such situations Im not well educated on.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I don’t have one.. i enjoy all my moments with them the same. Each child is special in there own way but my love towards them makes them equal.
