I love just letting kids be in nature. Whether that’s playing running around in the grass, getting a little muddy, looking at the insects crawling around, i think that any activity outside is beneficial to children. We could paint the side walks with chalk, go on a walk, just about anything I am down for!

I think that the most important part about being a nanny is ensuring the safety of the children you’re taking care of. Once that is established and maintained, it’s important to have fun and not take life so seriously. It’s important for kids to love life and to love others around them.

I have had some volunteer experience with special needs kids when my school hosted a “special Olympics.” We would go around and play various sports with the kids and let them had some fun!
