Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities depend on the age of the child.
Infant activities I enjoy are reading and singing to them, tummy time, helping with milestones such as sitting, crawling, walking ect.
Most of my experience is with toddlers. I enjoy teaching them the basics such as colors, shapes, numbers and letters through games, flashcards ect. Activities to enhance gross motor skills, such as music and movement songs and exercises, as well as basic outdoor play. Activities to enhance fine motor such as art, and manipulatives, which is also wonderful for brain development. When I was a nanny previously I took them to a lot of group activities as well which I and the kids really enjoyed!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I have mostly worked in daycare. I was a nanny for a couple of years and I loved it. I think the most important part about being a nanny is the one on one time that you get to have with the child/ children. Daycare classrooms can be very hectic and it is hard to be able to give each child the individual care they may need every minute of everyday. Also, open communication between the parents and nanny to make sure everyone is on the same page is very important as well.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have direct full time experience with special needs children. I have helped other teachers is other rooms with them from time to time, specifically Autistic children.
