A little bit about me

Hello my name is Michelle. I'm not a nanny what I am is a mother of three I've raised three beautiful children who are now independent happy living on their own having a great life. I was blessed to be able to be a stay-at-home mom and housewife. I was married to my children's father for 25 years. I was a CNA in the state of Massachusetts until I gave birth to my first child. CPR certification has expired will recertify if requested. I like to add that being a stay-at-home mom and housewife was the best and most rewarding job I ever had. I miss it so much if I had the chance to do it again I would in a heartbeat. I put my best foot forward and did the best that I could do and always try to exceed because there's always room for improvement. My Children looked at myself and their father as their Heroes. And all truth my kids are my superheroes

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to do arts and crafts to have the children make presents for their parents. I'm not that good at it but it's fun and the children love it too. When I read stories to the children I try to dress up as the main character. as I'm reading the book to the kids of physically act out. For example" Clifford the Big Red Dog " I would wear a red knitted cap and get red socks and partially stuff them under the cap on each side of my head so it looked like dog ears put on a red coat what have you and have a big box as a dog house and sit in the box and run around the yard while I'm reading the story to them and acting up the lines. After I'm done reading that story I will dress up a child the same way I was dressed or the way they don't want to be and read the same story again and have them act it out. kites is a big deal for the children and of course finger painting

The most important part about being a nanny...

I'll just say what I think is very important when you're caring for children is of course safety and you have to be a good listener. If they come to you upset crying about something that you might think is very silly you have to keep in mind that they're upset and it's not silly to them you have to put yourself on their level and listen and if they're upset that means I'm upset and I'm going to fix it. So it's so important don't ever think a child's problem is is silly because it's really not especially to that child. Their happiness too if they're very happy about building a small Lego house is so excited I am too it's a big deal it's huge and you got to make sure they know that. And be proud and make sure they know how proud you are.
