A little bit about me

Hi! I'm a college student who is moving to Rhode Island after living in Connecticut my whole life. I have always loved helping out with children and have been working with children since I was 12, I have watched children as young as 2 months and as old as 13. This past year I spent most of my time working as a shared nanny for two families each with young children. I mostly watched after a 8-month-old and a 4-month-old, while occasionally doing date nights with each individual family. Before that I was working at a Montessori school where I was able to learn a lot about that method of teaching as well working with a range of students with different backgrounds and abilities. I'm currently studying to be a Speech Language Pathologist, but before that I was studying Sign Language Interpreting which I still have a strong interest in and love to incorporate with the children I work with. I'm hoping to find a family to start working for in September since that's when I will be moved in.
