Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

have done four nanny shares and truly enjoy them. I welcome and look forward to doing many more in the future. I love being shared between two families because it feels like having a playdate every day at work. It’s so fulfilling to watch the children learn, grow, and build friendships together.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking children to museums and parks, doing art projects, attending music and movement classes, and having playdates with friends to cook and have fun together. I also love reading stories and singing songs. I believe in creating activities based on each child’s emerging interests while also supporting their developmental milestones through purposeful play and exploration.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is developing a great family, caregiver and community partnership for the best interest and development of the children. I make sure that I communicate effectively with parents throughout the day by using an app that allows me to upload pictures, videos and various times of activities that I do with the children. It’s also important to make sure that a child’s basic needs are met so that they can be as relaxed and comfortable as possible. I am very big on giving children room to explore and create. Parents , family and caregivers are always a child’s first teachers. Parents are always able to leave their homes and not worry about the safety of their children when they are in my care.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have extensive experience working with children with special needs, but I am always eager to learn and would gladly take courses or training to better support their individual needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are always during the summer. We spend our days exploring local parks, making frozen treats, enjoying water play, and spending time with friends. I plan activities that promote growth in all areas of development—language and literacy, fine and gross motor skills, social-emotional development, cognitive skills, and a strong sense of self.
