My name is Mikayla and I am a nursing student at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences. Over the past 8 years I have been a nurse aid and a medical assistant, the majority of my experience being in pediatrics. I have my basic life support and know first aid. I also have de-escalation training. Some of the places I have worked include Carolina's Pediatric Neurology Care, and Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital. I am looking for part time work while I am going to school to get my RN.

I have experience with special needs children including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and autism.

Scheduling Preferences:
I am free for the summer. I start my nursing classes again at the end of August. I have signed up for night lecture on Tuesdays. I would have clinical rotation on Fridays from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Some fun things about me. I enjoy painting, making earrings, sewing, and gaming. I enjoy going to concerts, the beach, and the mountains.
