My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with autistic and down syndrome children as of year 2022. Growing up with an autistic older brother has taught me a lot of how to react and not to react to their certain wants and needs and the way their mind works. I currently work with a down syndrome 18 year old girl and I have learned a lot about certain procedures and steps to take along the way such as how I can help her and ease her mind. She also does have a g-tube which I was trained to use and learn about how to make her medicines and how to replace if broken.
