I have hands-on experience working with children in various settings. I’m currently a preschool teacher and have been since the age of 18 it has allowed me to provide care and support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. I believe in fostering a positive, faith-based environment for young learners. These experiences have given me extensive knowledge and compassion for caring for children of all abilities with love, patience, and understanding.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in fun and creative activities that help them learn and grow. Some of my favorite things to do include reading stories, doing arts and crafts, exploring the outdoors, and playing games that encourage imagination and teamwork. I also enjoy baking simple treats with kids and teaching them new skills in a way that’s exciting and age-appropriate. No matter the activity, I focus on creating a joyful and encouraging environment where kids can thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe being a nanny is so much more than just a job it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a family’s life. Coming from a single-parent home, I understand how important it is to have reliable, compassionate support. My mother worked so hard to provide for me, and I know how much she would have appreciated having someone there to help with the little things that make a big difference. That’s why I’m so passionate about being that helping hand for other families, offering the same care and dedication I know my mother would have wanted.
My experience with special needs children...
I have extensive experience working with children with disabilities, including those with autism, cystic fibrosis, and various developmental and behavioral challenges. During my time in the pediatric unit and while working in the mental health field, I helped create provided compassionate care to children navigating complex emotional and physical needs. With the help of amazing doctors and knowledge I’ve learned along the way I’ve supported children through therapies, created individualized care strategies, and worked closely with families and their health care team to ensure a supportive environment for each child’s growth. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the unique challenges children with disabilities face and strengthened my ability to care for them with patience, empathy, and respect.
