A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Mindel, though some people call me Mindy. In terms of experience with children and family dynamics, my exposure is very unique. I am the second to youngest in a family of 13 and have sixty-something nieces and nephews. Needless to say, I know how to be with children of all ages and personalities. I also have a number of years of paid childcare experience.

I have a special way with children, a secret language of sorts. The bonds I have developed over the years have been strong and sweet and I carry a deep gratitude for the families who have welcomed me into their worlds.

I work to cultivate a relaxed state while cradling infants and find joy in offering my attention and presence to kiddos of all ages. I love entering the imaginative world of children and playing physically while being kind, firm, and safe.

In my spare time, I pursue my art! I am a dancer and singer-songwriter on both piano and guitar :) I often enjoy to incorporate music and dance while nannying.
