A little bit about me

Hi,
I am a Mental Health Counselor and single mother of twins who are almost 16. I am looking for a change in career paths. I am hoping to implement my experience as a professional who has worked with children and adolescents, as well, as my experience as a mother.
I am not the best cook(ask my kiddos). I am skilled at being mindful and patient. I was employed as a nanny, prior to having children.
I pride myself in being creative and curious. I love that children are curious and my hope is to nurture this through play while encouraging imagine.
Structure is important as it creates a since of safety for children. I believe structure can be taught by modeling and being flexible, meeting a child where they are at.
Communication between a care giver and parents is so important. I have employed a nanny, in the past, so I understand what it is like to be on the parental side. I would love an opportunity to love your children.
