I was a summer camp counselor for two years at a k-12 school. I worked with kids from 4 years old and up and was in charge of developing activities for them to do, ensuring that they had an educational as well as fun time, and keeping them safe and returned to their guardian.

I love to take the kids outside and play games such as tag or take them to a playground. Indoors, doing crafts such as painting, drawing, or even being silly like dancing and listening to music are also things I love to do. Watching movies are also something I enjoy doing with kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is to not only care for the child, but to build a relationship with them. The child needs to trust the nanny as much as the parents too. Respect is a two-way street, so just as the child is expected to respect the nanny, the nanny must also have respect, empathy, and a mutual understanding with the child.

I used to volunteer at an elementary school where I helped mentor and was an assistant in teaching the children basic skills such as math and science.

My favorite moment was when I was working at the summer camp where I was previously employed, and some of my campers came up to me, gave me a hug, and told me that I helped them have the best summer ever!
