It's hard to narrow down my nannying experience to a singular moment. However, one of my favorite moments was a simple day with the three girls I watched three days a week for over a year. We were all sitting at their dining room table: the oldest finishing her homework, the two younger girls coloring and finishing their morning snack. I began to draw with them, and they began to work with me. We all created a fairy castle together, choosing colors and design, and when their mom arrived back home, they were so incredibly proud of the work we had done together that they ran to the front door with the art to show her.
