More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked long term with 3 families, each for over two years, ages ranging from 4 months to 11 years old. I am good at paying attention to the details of the home and children that may be different family to family.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do little art projects and activities that lean into the talents and curiosity of each individual child. My Nana was a teacher, and growing up she always had unique learning and craft ideas. I give close attention, games, words of affirmation, books, if there is homework to be done, we can make that fun too believe it or not! Outdoors if allowed I love to take the kiddos to a park or on a walk/ exploring or we can stay at my home.
I have always worked in the home of the families who employed me in the past but this time around I would like to do it from my own home. It is clean and safe, a fenced yard and would make me feel more comfortable with my own baby because he is easy to put down for naps here.
I'm aware with children who've learned how to run, there will be many games of tag in the yard or house. I have a lot of energy to keep up with the little ones.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is to simply understand. Children think with emotion. I listen sympathetically, and am very good at helping kids to be healthy mentally, emotionally, and physically.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For one family, I made breakfast and lunch every day for kids, we would eat and talk about all the things going on in their mind and i Loved the little moments of talking while eating. Also I can't get over how many games of hide and seek I've played.

I am a graduate from the University of Arizona and I am starting physical therapy school in the fall! I have always loved kids and am considering pursuing pediatric physical therapy. I started babysitting when I began middle school, which involved ages 6months-12 years. I have never been an official nanny because of my busy school schedule, but always find myself surrounded by children. I am comfortable with every age child.
I can’t think of a better way to spend my gap between schools than to have fun taking care of children.
