Every household has priorities to be set and what's needed to be done. So that's usually important to be accomplished before I leave the house. As well as the kid is happy and safe, not hungry and settled down before the parents/ guardians are back home.
My experience with special needs children...
My god sister has an autistic boy who's an awesome kid, I've had to adjust on how to communicate and figure out tantrums to calm him down as well to figure out what he wanted to eat separately from his sister that wasn't autistic.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Any point to where the kids are laughing to the inspiration with arts and crafts to the time they're tired and peacefully asleep are the best memories. Just seeing them Happy of course.
