Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My start in childcare was working as a teaching assistant at a daycare. After about a year I transitioned to my current career field, nannying.
I have now been a nanny for the past 4 years, working directly through a nanny agency.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm a creative person, so my favorite go-to activities is anything crafty! My best crafty creation thus far has been homemade kaleidoscopes, they were a hit.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It matters most to me the responsibility that I am given to care for other people's children. A responsibility that I do not lightly!

The most important part about being a nanny...

was working with this little girl (8 months old) who over the course of a week I was able to teach her 3 different words in sign language. It is so accomplishing to be able share skills that foster independence, and seeing her at such a young age be able to do so was very special.
