I have nine (9) years’ experience in childcare, seven (7) of those years were spent caring for infants and toddlers within a DayCare setting and the other 2 years in a private home environment.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
The ability to teach the children that I have worked with in enhancing sensory and cognitive skills and building social skills always brings joy to my heart. I believe art and craft and outdoor activities assist in developing these skills and I enjoy these with the children. I also find utilizing their own toys helps them with their vocabulary and emotional skills which allows them to be more relaxed and open to the learning experience. ( some of the outdoor activities are going to the playground, play dates with other kids, library, museum) (indoor activities music arts and crafts)
The most important part about being a nanny...
loving , nurturing caring, teaching and getting to watch that child grow and learn while in my care is awesome and providing the building blocks at such a tender age is satisfaction.

I have not worked yet with special needs children however I'm willing to be trained and taught how to work with those little ones needing care

One of my most recent funny moment with my little boy was when he asked me after nap where was my big phone not knowing he realize i was using a small cell phone that day in particular i laughed and explained my phone had broke and i had to resort an old phone I had at home.It goes to show how observant these little ones are
