As previously stated in my bio, I have worked with children in some form in all my jobs. I first began working with children when I started to work for the Hoayek family. I worked with four children, one of them being of special needs. It was with this family that I learned patience and hard work. , From the Hoayek family, I began to work in a high school tutoring children and coaching them in public speaking and speech and debate. I later wanted to advance my career by entering the social work field and helping place children in safe and striving foster homes. However, I am stepping away from social work. I wish to further my skills and experiences through child care and first-hand experience.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

While caring for children, I enjoy morning walks through the park where the children can explore and learn about the different organisms found in the park. In addition to exploring, I also enjoy reading before nap time and active participation when the children are old enough in meal prepping.

The most important part of being a nanny is learning how the baby expresses better care for their needs, lots of patience, and love.

My experience with special needs children...

While working for the Hoayek family, I cared for a special needs child age five. The child had Anglemen Syndrome and often needed assistance walking and eating. I administered medicine and provided the best care possible as he was an absolute angel.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny occurred while working with the Hayek family. one afternoon, after placing the children down for a nap, I began to wash the dishes. While I turned around, I felt a hand and became very startled. Ameer, who could not walk, had gotten up from the floor mat and walked to the kitchen. I was immensely proud of how brave he was and how much therapy had helped him.
