Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysat for various families since I turned sixteen. For the past two years during the school year I have worked in a program with children's grades 3-12. The past two summers I have worked with five and six year old children at a summer camp.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing outdoors activities, doing arts and crafts, and being super creative. I also enjoy activities that foster learning and development while also being fun. I have learned how to incorporate those activities through my speech pathology major.
My experience with special needs children...
I have done an extensive amount of volunteer work (ex: best buddies, Unified basketball, special olympics) with children with special needs. This s something I am very passionate about. However I do not have any specific training or qualifications in this area.
