I think the most important part is ensuring that the child or children feel completely safe, protected, respected and can create fun memories with their nanny. Children are always listening and learning so it’s especially important to remember that you could be a role model to them as they often look up to adults.

The most important part about being a nanny...
A funny memory I have is from a recurring babysitting job I had. The little girl asked if we could do a makeover. She showed me all of her supplies and things we could use. We worked together to pick different things out for both her and I. She absolutely loved it and seemed to have the best time. Of course, she did my makeover and thought it was hilarious.
