I have over 8 years of experience caring for children — more than 5 years in Brazil and over 3 years in the U.S. I worked as an au pair for two years (1.5 years in Colorado and 6 months in Pennsylvania), and for the past year I’ve been working as a full-time nanny in Pennsylvania.
Throughout these years, I’ve cared for children of different ages, but most of my experience is with infants and toddlers. I started out in the U.S. caring for newborn twins (they were just 1 month old when I arrived) and stayed with the family until they turned 2. I also helped with their older sister, who was 4 at the time and is now 6. In my most recent position, I’ve been caring for a baby girl who was 1 month old when I started, and her older brother who was about 1 year and 4 months. Today, he is 2 and she just turned 1.
