The most important part about being a nanny...
When your watching someone else’s child I feel like your supposed to view them as your own! Follow the rules of the parents but treat the child with the same care that you would if they were your own! Being able to leave a impact on the kiddos to where they go to school and know a fun fact because of their sitter or can sit and teach their friends or family something cool that they learned throughout the day…not making the child feel like your just some stranger in their home but getting them comfortable enough to have fun like they would around family…this is a job ,yes but it’s also a passion to want to help and be there for people!
My experience with special needs children...
I have two baby cousins that have autism but I don’t view them as special needs… they are regular children and while knowing their needs in my head I also make them feel like they can be themselves and regular kids to where them having autism doesn’t matter…they are just as fun and cool if not cooler than everyone else lol!😂
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the children I watched spotted me in the grocery store and ran up to me saying “mommy it’s my most favorite person ever ms.Momo” and every part of it warmed my heart!
