More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over 6 years of experience working with children in both professional and volunteer settings. For five years, I served as a trusted caregiver during church services, providing one-on-one attention to children under 10 who needed extra care and support. This role helped me develop a deep sense of patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level.
Following that, I worked as a teacher’s aide at Chesterbrooke Academy for about a year, supporting children between the ages of 2 and 7. My responsibilities included assisting with daily routines, organizing activities, helping with learning milestones, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to care for children across a range of ages and needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I truly enjoy spending quality time with children in ways that are both fun and meaningful. During my time at Chesterbrooke Academy, I had designated reading times where I’d sit with the kids and read storybooks—bringing the stories to life and helping build their love for reading. I also supervised and engaged in playtime, which often included building with Legos and Magnetiles, pretend play, and creative arts and crafts. I especially enjoy dancing around to fun music with the kids and getting outside for fresh air and outdoor games. Whether we’re playing tag, blowing bubbles, or having a mini dance party, I love encouraging children to be active, expressive, and confident in themselves. My goal is always to create a warm, safe, and joyful space where they can thrive and just be kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where a child feels seen, heard, and valued. It’s about being someone they can trust—someone who nurtures not just their daily needs, but their growth, confidence, and joy. Building a strong connection with both the child and their family is at the heart of it all, and I believe showing up with patience, kindness, and consistency makes a lasting impact.
My experience with special needs children...
While working at Chesterbrooke Academy, I had the opportunity to support children with special needs who needed a little extra time and encouragement when it came to socializing and engaging with others. We made it a priority to gently guide them in group settings, offering patience, understanding, and consistent interaction to help them feel comfortable and confident. It was always rewarding to see them slowly come out of their shell and start building connections with their peers at their own pace. Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment was always at the heart of what we did.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of being a nanny has been seeing the joy and trust from parents as they watched how gently and intentionally I cared for their children. It meant so much to know they felt at ease knowing their child was in safe, loving hands. What touches me most, though, is how children responded to me—feeling comfortable, happy, and free to be themselves. Watching them grow more confident in who they are and knowing I played a small part in that journey has been incredibly rewarding. Moments like those remind me why I love what I do.

I am a 26-year-old teacher who recently moved to the area. I am looking to work with kids again (which is my passion) as I finish up my Master's degree in English Literature. I have been working with children the majority of my life, and I adore every bit of it. I am conversational in ASL, so if you have an interest in teaching sign language to your young children, I am absolutely willing to help. I have an education in childhood development and have worked with children of all ages professionally. In my last nannying job, I worked with an infant with a heart condition; she was lovely, and it is one of my favorite jobs to date! Please consider me as an addition to your home!

Currently work for celebree day care and pre-school. Looking to work part time with families outside of my main job.
Also, I will be traveling more now that I am a military spouse. So, I gotta haha!
However, I love working with kids and families and I know it is not always easy but it’s the job I love and want to do.
This job is my creative field, currently getting into schooling for my associates degree to become a possible art teacher and/or permanent aide.
Other than my priorities in this field of work I love the arts of music and craft of course! Along with cooking.
I haven’t traveled much but I love it.
So, far I’ve made it to Paris, France. Hopefully more to come!
However, One day hoping to make my way to Germany and possibly increase my knowledge in language.
