More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I started babysitting at 12, then was a counselor at Boys and Girl’s Club for 3 years. At 18 I moved to study in San Diego and became a nanny as well as a before/after school counselor. I started preschool teaching where I’m originally from ( California) and taught at a private, preschool and pre-kindergarten. The private school closed and I started teaching again as a pre-K teacher until I moved to Kentucky to be closer to family and again found another private school to work at. And now i’m here! Living closer to the fam, hoping to find my niche again and to be with children. I co e with many you’d, books, learning supplies, etc!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Playing, working on small and large motor skills, discovering new things, dramatic play, DEFINITELY reading, playing pretend, bonding with them so they know they have any person on to trust and care for them, walks, the park, art and crafts. Games… and the list goes on. I primarily speak English, but know many things in Spanish, if that would be any interest in you!

Bonding, laughing, teaching them without even realize they’re learning. See that light shine in their eyes and the smile that reaches them. Getting to be a part of their lives and knowing I’ve made an impact on them and myself. It’s truly my blessing. My apologizes if that sounded vague, there are many many moments.
