Understanding that kids learn from chaos. Understanding those little/big emotions and communicating them to help . Physical cues and verbal ones , can go along way with anyone . Each child is truly different from the next .
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience so far as non verbal, Down syndrome, developmental delays, speech delays, and as well with behavioral dis regulation kiddos . This may not be a special needs to some , I do as well have experience with kids who have diabetes .
The most important part about being a nanny...
Kids are very honest and I absolutely adore that about kids. I know parents are suppose to witness the kiddos first of anything they may yet to do but I enjoy those moments after mom and dad have seen them first hand! I enjoy the connections and relationships built with the kids and their family.
