Hello, I am looking for a job near Redmond or Kirkland area, as I am moving there in June. In the past, I have worked for multiple families as a nanny/babysitter and as worked a teacher’s assistant at two schools. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love bringing fun learning and developmental toys and games tailored to the children who I work as a nanny for. Along with utilizing the toys the children enjoy playing with at home, I also like to figure out what toys or projects they would like working on, based on their individual interests. I have also enjoyed planning outings/adventures with parents to get outside or go somewhere fun such as the zoo.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A child who I was a nanny for was a bit shy at first, but after a couple weeks of working as her nanny she really opened up and expressed interest in arts/craft projects she liked doing. I was able to bring some different craft projects and we created books made from paper and ribbon where she started writing out sentences from words that we sounded out together (her parents were hoping that she would start writing more for practice). I remember a few times where she was so excited to sound out words and write the letters in her book that she created.
