I am currently employed at a licensed child care facility, where I have been working for 16 months. My hands-on experience with children began when I was in 9th grade, working under the table in the toddler and baby room. In addition to my formal child care role, I have been actively involved in my church, where I lead groups of children. I have also babysat for numerous families over the years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing all sorts of activities with kids! Arts and crafts are a blast, especially when we get to make cute handprint and footprint art. Tea parties are another favorite of mine—we sip on imaginary tea and pretend we're at a fancy gathering. Dancing is always a hit, too. There's nothing like a spontaneous dance party to shake things up!

Playing ball is so much fun, whether it's a mini soccer game or just tossing a ball around. Pretending to be superheroes and saving the world is another adventure we can go on. I also enjoy building with blocks, racing toy cars, and exploring the outdoors to find bugs and other cool stuff in nature. I would say I'm def still a kid at heart, which is why I love my job so much. I get to have fun with the children and watch them grow.
