Graduate of Iowa State University with a Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in children (0-8yr) and a minor in psychology. I have worked in numerous roles that have a focus in caring for children. I started with babysitting gigs and then cared for two boys with autism, worked for an afterschool program and up to a lead position. During my time at Iowa State I worked for a preschool & daycare and worked in multiple classrooms, from infants to toddlers. After graduating from Iowa State I started my professional career as a preschool teacher. I then found a position in foster care. I have a passion not only working with children but also finding creative ways to implement age appropriate learning in play.
