I used to tutor a few kids that were in middle school and a freshman in high school that had trouble with the transition to online during covid and not having a teacher through it. I also was a camp counselor for a month and a half to autistic and ADHD kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love drawing, doing crafts, and reading books. I really enjoy adventures like going to the park, zoo, or bowling. Also, grew up playing softball, volleyball, and basketball, so I would say I'm very active and down for whatever the kid wants to do!
The most important part about being a nanny...
... doing what makes the kid happy while keeping them safe. They should be laughing and having fun the whole time I'm there and whatever they want to do, I'm up for it!
My experience with special needs children...
I was a camp counselor for ADHD and autistic kids. I have an autistic cousin that I have cared for whenever my aunt or uncle needs me. Also, have a family friend that we see a lot who has down syndrome.
