Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have had many different positions working with children over the last 15 years including being a camp director of several different camps: working as a summer camp counselor: being an assistant teacher in two Montessori schools for early elementary, preschool, and kindergarten classrooms for 3 years: heading the after school program at one of those schools: coaching soccer and swim team: planning, coordinating, and managing children's events: and nannying/babysitting infants though school aged children for 6+ years. I have a wide range of skills, knowledge, and experience working with and teaching children. I love the work that I do and would call it a passion.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some of the activities I enjoy doing with children include reading, cooking, hiking, yoga, swimming, art, playing all kinds of games, telling jokes and riddles. I grew up playing many sports and love sharing them children. I played basketball, tennis, figure skating, snowboarding, and soccer. I was also a youth soccer and swim coach.

is being an outstanding role model who will encourage children to grow, learn and try new things while maintaining standards of health, safety, and behavior in and out of the home.

I have worked with high functioning and nonverbal children with autism. I have also worked with children with ADD/ADHD.
