A little bit about me

Hi! My name’s Morgan. I have been babysitting since 2013, and have been working as a lead teacher in a licensed childcare facility since 2020. As much as I have loved working in the classroom setting these past 5 years, I am looking to provide a higher standard of care with more one on one interaction. The majority of my experience is with infants and toddlers, but I have worked with all ages up to middle school. I have my associates degree in early childhood education from Blue Ridge Community College and I am currently in my senior year at Western Carolina University working towards my bachelors degree in birth-kindergarten education. I am certified in CPR and first aid, and am up to date on my ITS-SIDS safe sleep training. In my work I prioritize providing developmentally appropriate, evidence based practice to provide a holistic childcare experience.

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for children with autism and Down syndrome during my time working in a childcare facility. Outside of this, I have experience giving nebulizers and medication to young children. I am comfortable with working with any children with exceptionalities.
