One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when I was babysitting my nephew and we started playing a game he made up. His stuffed snake would "bite" the toy shark I had on my hand, and every time, the shark would dramatically "die" from the snake bite. I couldn’t stop laughing—it was such a simple, silly game, but I felt an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude to be able to share moments like that with him.
