My name is Mya, I have been working in child care my whole life!! I started babysitting when I was 13. Now being 19 I have worked in after school care, babysat, and worked in daycares. I love working with kids, building bonds and taking care of children. When I had a nanny I LOVED it. I love the memories we made and the person I got to know and part of me thinks she influenced the person I am today!! Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in an after school care for 6 months and I'm currently working at a daycare and I've been there for a little over 6 months almost 7!! I've babysat CONSTANTLY my entire life!!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like painting, play cooking, playing dress up, I lovee reading books to them, I love playing outside and making fun crafts. I love learning ABC's and sign language! I love playing make believe and making obstacle courses!!! I love going to the park and when they try to help with cooking!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The bond that you create with the children. Making sure they feel safe being around you and comfortable. The most important part of being a nanny is making them feel at home. That they're loved and protected even when their parents aren't there.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not had any unfortunately but am open to new experiences!

I suppose my all time favorite is their faces when they see me. The love and the excitement they have when see me and know we get to hang out and have fun :)
