A little bit about me

Hi there, my name is Mya and I’m an energetic and creative 27 year old! I started out in medical school for LPN, but fell into childcare five years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group are toddlers, but I have experience with all ages.

I’m looking for a full time position, with a minimum of a one-year commitment, and my rates start at $20/hour for one child. I have worked for 3 families, one for two years, and the others for 18 months each. I am looking into getting CPR certified, have my own car, and have taken online courses in child development with experience working in elementary schools and children hospitals.

My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I’m firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to.
