A little bit about me

From as early as I can remember I have taken care of kids. I started at 12 or 11, taking care of my little cousins. At 15 I was taking care of a family from my churches 3 children full time in my home, because the mother had postpartum depression (ages 5, 2, and 2 weeks). At 16 I was running the church daycare. 17 I was watching my neice and nephew 4 or 5 times a week. 18 I graduated high school and went to job corps to receive my child development associates degree. When I finished I came back home to work at a daycare here in Davenport. I was In the infant room. The toddler room and the pre-school rooms. My best friend of almost 20 years now has 5 children (as of October 4th) I am very involved in raising. Living with them off and on over the last 14 years. I am very much the person my family, extended family and friends call when they need child care. I love being around children and molding them into actual little people with hope, dreams, and aspirations.
