The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is providing a child with a sense of safety, consistency, and trust. Children thrive when they feel emotionally secure, understood, and supported, and I prioritize building that foundation in every family I work with.
Just as important is strong communication and partnership with parents. I believe the best care happens when caregivers and families are aligned, working together to support the child’s development, routines, and individual needs.
I also value being intentional in my care whether that means supporting developmental milestones, maintaining structure and routines, or simply being fully present and responsive throughout the day. My goal is always to create a calm, nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore, learn, and grow confidently.
