A little bit about me

I work at a private daycare/ for abig organization currently. I worked at a CISD school for 8 yrs working with special needs children. I am a mother or four wonderful kids, all my life I have been around children, I am one of eight siblings. I was born and raised in Africa. Being from Africa I didn't know how hard it was to find childcare and good sitters until I had my kids and was going to school full time and working full time. I vowed to help out anyone who needed help with childcare after experiencing the difficulty of finding good childcare.
Taking care and working with children is my passion. I am very patient and loving. To me I think, taking care of a child or the elderly is a gift and a privilege, not every one is compassionate and understanding. I get along well with all the children I work with, my works speaks for me.
I work with 0 to 10 yrs old, I can help with home work and I love reading books and doing crafts. I am not a very big fan of i pads.

I worked with special needs for 8 yrs in cisd. I currently work with infants to prep in a private daycare/ school. I have currently CPR certified and covid immunized. I love working g with children. I am very patient and organized. I love doing activities with children, I am not very fond of iPad and electronics, I prefer reading and play as children learn a lot through play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Patience and understanding. Love what you do and take care of the child like it were your own. It matters how you express yourself and how you talk, how you do things. What you do reflects upon your personality. A child us entrusted to you not because you are there to get paid, but to nature it. When I came to the USA , I had my first two kids going to work and school full-time. It was very hard to find good sitters, sometimes I would take my boys and hide them in the closet or under the desk so I could work. So I totally understand the worry parents go through. When you know your child is in good hands it puts your heart at ease.
