My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with wheelchair bound children deaf children. Autistic etc. In my experience you have to be patient , kind , and willing to learn different things as well as teach them different things . It can be difficult at times . Ex. I had a client she was 10 at the time I didn't know sign language at all but I studied it I bought myself a book . And as I started to communicate with her better , I can see the excitement in her eyes and it made the both of us so happy ! It was the best feeling !
The most important part about being a nanny...
My sweetest moment is when I took my 8 year old client which was wheelchair bound and everyone was dancing around the bride . And she looked sad.. 😢 And I wanted her to have that experience . So I assisted her as she danced in her chair with the bride . Best moment ever . Nothing can compare! 💝
