I enjoy the playground, imagination play, learning type games and tag. I believe those are the games that help you really connect with the kids and allow them to see your childlike spirit and allow them to open up to you more!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part about being a nanny or just someone that works with kids in general. Is to one; allow their voice to be heard and secondly; always explain your why behind your decision when telling them something. Even if they don’t understand from young age telling them gets them to know that their not doing something against their will.

My experience with special needs children...

I am current an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) which means I give direct therapy to kids with autism. I’ve done clinic and in-home during the summer taking care of them and getting their social, cognitive and communication skills up for school. It’s been such a blessing and fun experience to work with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nannying moment was when I was with these two kiddos and we played monsters and humans where we each came up with a different scenario and also teaching them how to take turns with one another as well as with the adult present (me).
