A little bit about me

My name is Nakia, and I’ve always loved caring for others especially children. I’m an auntie of four (three nephews and a 2-year-old niece) and have been hands-on in helping raise them since birth, so I’m very comfortable with babies and kids of all ages. Growing up surrounded by children has taught me patience, responsibility and how to create a safe loving, and fun environment. I’m passionate about healthcare and am currently pursuing my Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification at
Arizona state university I’ve also worked at a retirement home serving seniors, which strengthened my communication, and ability to maintain a clean and structured environment. I’m fun, energetic, and open to doing anything that keeps kids engaged—outdoor play, crafts, games, reading, or homework help. My goal is to continue building my career in caregiving and nursing.
