"Nancy is…how do I put this?…the best nanny in the world. Hyperbole is the only option here. She has this calm, magical energy that makes everything feel easier and better for the whole family.
She’s one of those rare souls for whom nannying is not a job, but a calling. She cares about our kids in the absolute deepest sense. The way a blood relative would. She’s patient, meticulous, encouraging, intuitive. She somehow magically (again with the magic!) tows the line between holding our kids to a high standard of behavior and development while also providing endless compassion and loving support.
I truly believe that my son in particular would not be the confident, kind, attentive boy he is without her.
She brings out the best in my kids, and in us as parents too, as she generously shares her incredible knowledge (and wisdom!) with us.

Since my childcare profession coincided with my own children’s early years, it evolved very naturally to be able to love other people‘s children at the same time as respecting each parents individual choices of parenting styles. I believe childcare requires a perfect match because it’s not something that you can provide sincerely if your not feeling genuine. The care ranges from having a child from morning till night as parents commute to work from home parents, to children that are at school and then need to be going to many activities.. families vary.Age range has been 0-15 . I’ve commuted up to an hour, provided plenty if flexibility & reliability.

Of course the obvious one is soothing a baby or a boo boo ,building confidence, cheering up after a tuff day . One of my favorites was a little boy i had since 2 months would introduce me as “ my Nancy”
Another favorite was my first experience with Down syndrome was a sweet 12 yr old girl and I put some observations together to suggest some ideas to help her with family time, 4 kids total and they worked wonders.Another touching moment was as my teens aged out they opted to come to me rather then go home after school.Getting to share with a parent what we had learned that day is awesome.
