Engaging with my little charge Jarred, age 3. Jarred always showed up being someone else and I would always welcome Jarred only to be told most days “ I’m not Jarred, I’m Tom and I’m a Twain (train) engineew” …or Bob, the lineman or Joe the street sweeper! I loved that boy and his imagination and learned so many great things as I listened to his stories of his adventures as those guys! Lol, so much to go off of to build a fun engaged day for him! 30 years later, and I can still hear his voice, filled with such gusto! I hope he’s not outgrown that vivid imagination!
