A little bit about me

My name is Naomi Fairley i'm a 19 year old Junior Fine Arts Painting major, Business Administration minor at Howard University from Lake Charles Louisiana. I have a creative soul, and pretty well knowledgeable within the visual and digital art field. I make reading my hobby and live to work at night but most motivated in the morning. Some of my best work is made under pressure and i love being a team player when the time calls for it. I also have a deep interest with the psychological human mind, due to it playing a crucial part within my art pieces it leads me to be well educated on how to interact with others. More so understanding where people come from and developing a deep care with understanding how to resolve the issue.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in my children's church with ages 6-3 for about a year, I had to give the kids snack play games with them and look after them for about and hour and a half every sunday and wednesday.
I volunteer at times in my community, and a couple of times I had to look after a group of kids (5-8 kids) that were at least younger than 7 years old. So i had to guide them while doing arts and crafts, help them with their homework, and at times prepare snacks/lunches.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts with children, so using paint, markers, and crayons is my favorite to do with kids because i feel it truly gives you an insight on what they are thinking and how they see the world. For outside activities playing with toys that can be used in close proximity, having a picnic, playing kickball or catch, things that can be done in a area that's open where I can see them at all times is my favorite to assure the child's safety. However if i had to choose i would dedicate most activities inside or in a backyard of some sort.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny to me is the impact you have on a child. Children have a fresh brain, new to this world, and these times of their childhood are most important; what they experience is essential because it is the start of how they view the world from then on. Why not start that off with enjoyable memories, education on how to interact with people, how giving respect to people in small ways goes a long way, and how having fun while you can is crucial? So I would love to impact a child utilizing these key points for the betterment of how they take on life as a child as lightheartedly as possible.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Kids say the funniest things. I was babysitting two boys, one 7 years old, the other 6, when it was time to eat, they said they weren't hungry. I even offered them something small, and they still didn't want any, so I started to eat my lunch, and both of them came next to me and started to eat my food. I said, "I thought y'all were not hungry." They said something along the lines that they weren't and proceeded to eat more of my food. At that point, I just let them have it because I get how it is to not want your own whole meal but to want a little bit of someone else's. ;)))
