Hi, my name is Natalia, I am 29 years old, I was born in Colombia and have been in the U.S. since I was 15. I speak Spanish and English fluently and also a bit of Portuguese. I am married, but don't have children yet. Eventually, I will. In the meantime, I don't mind caring for other children; I enjoy being around children; they are very creative, and I appreciate how they perceive the world. I love learning from them, surprisingly, they have many things to teach us (adults) about the world. I always look to enjoy the day and the moment, finding beauty in the little things. I have a younger brother who is autistic, I took care of him plenty of times while growing up. My mom had to work sometime until late. I also had to prepare him for bed and school the next day.

I am a hands-on person, I like outdoor activities, painting, drawing, doing fun activities, and using creativity to create new ways to play and have fun. I like music and dancing, nature and exploring the world.

What I think is primordial in being a nanny is not only taking seriously the care of the child but also learning about his/her needs, how they behave, and understanding their own personality, giving them space to express themselves and to develop their skills and abilities.
